These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases made through the Atlantean K9 website (“Website”). They set out the terms of sale for our premium dog food and related products delivered in the United Kingdom.
By using our Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Using our Website
You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with site performance. We may suspend access if misuse is detected.
3. Product information (dog food, ingredients & suitability)
We take care to display product descriptions, ingredients, feeding information and images accurately. However:

Health, allergies & dietary needs
Our products are not veterinary medicines and do not treat or cure disease. If your dog has a diagnosed medical condition, is on medication, or requires a prescription diet, consult your vet before changing food.
If your dog has allergies or sensitivities, you are responsible for checking ingredients before purchase.
4. Prices, payment & promotions

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise.
Payment
We accept payments through our payment providers (e.g., Shopify Payments and other gateways enabled on checkout). Your payment is taken at the point you place an order.
Discounts & promotions
Discounts, offers, bundles and free delivery thresholds may change at any time. They apply only during the stated promotional period and may be subject to additional terms.
5. Placing an order (how the contract is formed)

The contract is formed once we accept your order and dispatch the goods.
We may refuse or cancel an order if:

If we cancel after payment, we will refund you.
6. Delivery (UK) — shipping, tracking & risk
UK delivery
We deliver within the United Kingdom. Delivery options, costs and estimated timescales are shown at checkout.
Free delivery threshold
We may offer free UK delivery above a stated spend threshold (for example, £59+). The current threshold is shown on the Website at the time of purchase.
Dispatch & delivery times
Dispatch times depend on order volume, weekends and bank holidays. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by courier disruption, weather, or peak seasons.
Tracking
Where available, we provide tracking once your parcel has been handed to the courier.
Address accuracy
You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, we may charge for redelivery.
Risk and title
Risk passes to you on delivery. Title to goods passes to you once full payment is received.
7. Subscriptions (if offered)
If subscriptions (“Subscribe & Save”) are enabled:

You can manage, pause or cancel via your customer account (where available) or by contacting support before the next billing date.

8. Returns, refunds & cancellations (UK consumer rights)
We comply with UK consumer law, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8.1 Your right to cancel (distance selling)
If you are a UK consumer, you usually have a right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
However, this right can be limited for certain goods where the seal is broken or for hygiene reasons. See “Opened goods” below.
To cancel, contact us with your order number and request cancellation. If your order has already dispatched, you will need to return it.
8.2 Returns (how to return an item)

8.3 Opened dog food and hygiene
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns of opened pet food unless:

the goods are faulty

damaged in transit

incorrect items were delivered
This does not affect your statutory rights for faulty goods.
8.4 Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives:

We will offer a replacement or refund as appropriate.
8.5 Refunds
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Bank processing times vary.
9. Feeding guidance & results disclaimer
Feeding guides are intended as a starting point only. Every dog is different based on age, breed, activity and metabolism.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., weight loss, coat improvements) because results depend on overall feeding routine, treats, exercise and health status.
10. Reviews, comments and user content
If you submit reviews or content:

it must be accurate and lawful

it must not infringe third-party rights

we may moderate or remove content that is abusive, misleading, or inappropriate
11. Intellectual property (brand, images, content)
All content on this Website (including text, images, logos and design) is owned by or licensed to Atlantean K9. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute it without permission.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

any liability that cannot be excluded by law
Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods supplied.

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., courier disruption, severe weather, strikes, supply chain issues).

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
